However, the decisive factors in Saturday’s contest appeared to be turnovers and penalties. TCU’s quarterback, Chandler Morris, threw two interceptions, and the Horned Frogs were penalized a total of 10 times for 78 yards during the game.
In contrast, Colorado committed just six infractions, accumulating 35 yards in penalties and turning the ball over only once.
